The Burlingame High School counselors are Karen Latham, Tammy Esrailian, Luis Mashek and Carla Renzi. Each of the counselors has a master's degree in Counseling and a Pupil Personnel Services Credential. The counseling team works with the school community to provide guidance, expertise and support under the National Model for School Counselors in the areas of Academic, Career and Social/Emotional development. Through classroom presentations, individual meetings, parent presentations, staff development and collaboration the counselors work with the school community in a variety of ways. As a staff the counseling team works hard to provide support so students can successfully reach their academic and personnel goals.
