BOYS VARSITY PAL Champs!

Congratulations to all BHS Panther Swimmers for your great swims, best times, CCS qualifying times, and for those who broke Peninsula Athletic League records at the PAL Trials and Finals this week.  The Varsity Girls finished second to a strong Menlo Atherton team, and the Boys Varsity won the championship meet!

PAL records broken:

The BHS Boys Varsity 200 Medley Relay (Josh Yeager, Walker Pease, Kawei Tan, Eric Bakar) broke the 2011 record by 2.3 seconds with their time of 1:38.21.

Kawei Tan broke the 27 year old, 1986 Boys Varsity 200 Individual Medley record by .35 of a second with his time of 1:54.87.

Leah Goldman set a new Girls Varsity 100 Backstroke record with a 56.08 (.84 faster than the previous record set in 2010).

All PAL records set by BHS in previous seasons still stand.

It was a great meet to be at, all the way to the end, with the deafening roar of the crowd during Varsity Boys 4x100 Free Relay, which the Panther Team won!
